FAQS

What is your refund policy?

We have a 24-hour refund policy. If you do not cancel your bookings within this time frame, you will be held responsible for the full amount of your bookings. If you are sick or for some reason changing your date of departure, please call us right away—no matter what time—and leave a message. We will try and reschedule another seat for you (if available) and discuss other options.

We encourage people to book their seats on our van bus a few days in advance. Our vans are comfortable and often fully sold. If you make a last-minute booking (2 hours before departure), just please let us know by sending us a WhatsApp message or talk to our Online Support first so we can confirm availability.

What is the van like? What's its itinerary?

We use a small, 9-seat Limousine D’car Van. Our van is equipped with USB charging ports, free water, and free wifi. The van has big seats that recline and blankets. It is the most comfortable seat for a current car.

The distance from Hanoi to Cao Bang City is more than 300km, which takes about 6–6,5 hours by van. Included in the transfer time from Hanoi to Cao Bang City is a 25-minute lunch break. A stop for dinner is included in our afternoon van.

For vans that leave at 6.15 AM both from Hanoi and Cao Bang, You will meet halfway around 10.30 AM at Bac Kan Province for a 25-minute break. The stop offers food and drinks (about 3 USD per meal). For vans that leave at 3:30 PM both from Hanoi and Cao Bang, this break is also at the same location at around 7 PM.

We can also connect drop you at the Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai Airport) too though let us know about it to coordinate the proper time for you.

For private van rental, we can leave at your convenient time.

Why do you use a van instead of the bus?

Most buses run at night and they are slow, taking about 8–9 hours to get from Hanoi to Cao Bang.

Additionally, buses are not cheaper—most of the buses leave from a station which is a few km away from the center of Hanoi. This adds costs to travel there for you.

Lastly, most night buses are not comfortable. They arrive in Cao Bang city center sometime between 4 - 5 AM when you can't check in to hotels. It is very important for your safety to be well-rested before starting the loop. Especially if by motorbike.
